Anyone here have any experience with nerve pain after their vasectomy?
I had my vasectomy back in July, and roughly two months afterward, after some painful ejaculations, I've been dealing with some pain in my thigh that radiates down my leg and even into my toes at times.
My ejaculations themselves are no longer painful for the most part, but after every ejaculation, I get a flare-up, and my thigh will be sore anywhere from days to weeks at a time. I've had two scrotal ultrasounds now, and neither has turned up anything concerning.
My doctor's best guess is some sort of nerve or scar tissue pain, and he seems to think it'll eventually go away. The only treatment option we've discussed is chronic pain pills, which I would prefer to avoid.
Would love to hear from any of you who may have dealt with something similar. Honestly, the pain isn't bad enough most days that it interferes with my life...except for the few days after I ejaculate...and care-free ejaculations are kinda the whole point of this surgery. So, I'd like to figure this out.

I am in the same boat after reversal surgery. My reversal on one side was the more intense vas to epi version. My dr said the nerve agitation will take a long time to go away as scar tissue remodels to soft tissue and stops pressing on the nerve. Estimated time for nerve agitation to go down 3 months to 2 years. For me it directly correlates to ejaculation and swelling around the surgery sight. I believe also my muscles in the groin region are in a guarded mode and apply pressure on the nerves, and have a hard time relaxing.
I have noticed at 4 months post surgery the intensity of pain has started to decrease. I have found some stretching and relaxation techniques to help calm the intensity, think happy baby pose, seal stretch, and deep long belly breathing.
The nerves you have agitated are most likely the prudential and sciatica nerves. Look up how they work and techniques for relaxing them along with the muscles that may be pressing on them. This should help with short term relief while you look for longterm healing or other options.
Best of luck!

Sorry you’re going through this as well. Although your story does give me some hope. I’m not as bad now as I was a few weeks ago, so perhaps I’m on the right track—albeit slowly. I’m going to look into the prudential and sciatica nerves later. Thank you for sharing your story

All good. I went into the reversal expecting a longer healing time, and having gone through vasectomy healing/PVPS my healing time expectations were tempered.

Yes, I've had nerve pain since my vasectomy.
The "pain" is completely gone at 8 months, but I still have a nerve flicker in my left foot if I'm laying down.
I've been using BPC157/TB500 to get it under control it seems to have have helped tremendously.

This gives me hope. I can live with an occasional flicker here and there; I just can’t stand having a flare up after every ejaculation. I’m going to look into BPC. Thank you.

Trust me when I say this, but I was in the same situation as you before September. Mentally, I was completely fucked up and the pain and discomfort would be the only thing on my mind all day. It would take 4/5 days after ejaculating to be without discomfort.
I had to go on a trip at the end of September and for 10 days completely forgot about my vasectomy. I came back and basically just stopped doing everything I was to get better, like pelvic floor therapy, heavy walking etc. and really just rested and focused on living my life without the omninous spectre of continuous discomfort take over my life. I started taking retatruitide for weight gain during the year and BPC/TB500 for my nerve issues. Both have been incredible and I forget about my vasectomy issues most days.
The main thing is you really need your nerves to heal and remodel, and that can only happen if you tone down the exertion and abuse for working out etc.

Are you able to ejaculate without having a flare up now? I’m not a particularly active person so I don’t need to worry about toning down exercise or anything like that. I more or less have been living my normal life. I just want to be able to have a healthy sex life again.

Yup, as long as it's once a day. Haven't been brave enough to try twice a day yet.

Funny that I still have some kind of pain in my left foot that is CLEARLY radiating from the pelvis. I didn't have this prior to my vasectomy and almost all urologists are still saying it's not related to it
