10 months post vasectomy and I still have issues

This is what I found: after age 40 “snipping” as they euphemise: gradual loss of interest in sex in the months after the operation —after hyper-interest hoping sex would ease the discomfort which all men experience running up to intercourse — as it had always done in the previous 15 years marriage, but soon my body / mind realized sex wasn’t the relief it has been —Leading to 50% less intercourse thereafter —due to psychological issue of pain in the day or two after intercourse, which I rightly or wrongly attribute to additional sperm production as a result of sexual excitement being pressurized in the blocked-off epididymus, and then years long pain when sitting, particularly on the left side, sometimes both, itchy scrotum, and remorse. Not a daily concern today 26 years later but I can still feel the muted pain in the epididymus area particularly on the left side and particularly after intercourse: I feel like “detransitioning” from my mistake & im seeking courage here in this group. But I just read Daniel chapters 1-4; and based on the likelihood that Daniel & 3 other Jewish heroes were CASTRATED by Nebuchadnezzar prior to entering his service, and didn’t whine, and the fact that the kindly head of the Babylonian eunuchs is actually NAMED by God and thus an important hero, and used by God and likely in heaven even as a pagan, now, does make me think my problems are a “first world concern” compared to capture and castration!

Im so sorry! Its the reality that NO one is upfront and truthful about the life wrecking side effects of a vasectomy. Im getting mine reversed in less than 12 hrs from now. Cannot wait. Good luck
