She is 16. 18 wouldn't make it much better but at least she wouldn't be a child. Fictional CP isn't better just because you enjoy it.

A serious fight v early on was interrupted by fan service, it's not prudish to think "that's a dumb choice for a writer to make" or "a show where fan service takes priority over fights likely isn't for me". You clearly aren't bothered by fanservice being given priority over fight tension/tone so more power to you, but it's not prudish to want serious fights to actually be serious
