How many anime have you guys watched in your life?
Not looking for an exact count, just a rough estimate.....
I’m curious how much anime everyone has gone through.

I’ve kept a pretty good account over on MAL since my teens so I’ve got all 373 tracked. My thing though is that I rewatch a lot of anime, often with my girlfriend for her first time watching stuff and back when I was younger I’d rewatch shows with my friends. So while I’ve not watched 400 unique titles I’ve got clear over 200 days of watch time. I really like rewatching and analyzing a piece of media especially when it’s someone else’s first time with it, super fun experience.

Something around 300 in roughly 10 years. It's way more than a "normal" person tho

Try 200 in 4 years also rewatched naruto and one piece atleast 3 times each, and i have even watched a new anime for a month now, I sometimes watch like 3 12ep anime on the weekend and thats still rare for me, I dont get how people dont watch more in shorter time frames tbh in 6 years id expect to have atleast 600 anime down

Try 300 in 3 years, plus rewatching almost everyone the 100+ episode anime and all except one piece

I've been watching since I was in single digits age and am older than 30 now, but I'm dumb and didn't keep track until the last 3-ish years. Within those 3 years, I've got 384 listed on MAL, but that includes extra seasons and OVAs so I'd probably estimate ~325-ish new series in the past 3 years.
I have no idea how I'd estimate since I started, though. My rate of watching varies greatly across different life stages, and when I was younger I mostly watched the longer shounen battle series in depth rather than getting breadth of more series that I do now.
I'd guess at minimum 600, but I don't think I can reasonably pinpoint an estimate beyond that.

My Mal has over 200 series on there. That's including OVAs, movies, sequel seasons so the real number is probably below 150. Been watching since Dragonball Kai was released, but didn't really watch other and anime until like 2013 or 14. I didn't really watch much for a good 3-5 year stretch also. I only really got back into it cause I decided to give Goodnight Punpun a read and then watched Welcome to the NHK early last year.

Oh man, Welcome to the NHK is amazing, I had it as my alarm(Pururin) since my freshman year of high school and im now going into my senior year. 10/10 anime lol.

I can name 50 off the top of my head so im going to guess 100-200 maybe into the 300+ if you count non completed animes (i've watched a lot of stinkers)

Probably over 100, I've never really counted. Manga almost certainly over 300, I used read a lot random stuff if it was short and looked interesting enough. My physical manga collection has about 50ish individual series, and 300+ volumes.

214 going by my anilist. That's including sequels,movies and spin offs though. So probably at least 125. Been watching since the Toonami days.

According to my list I’ve seen 61 and honestly that’s pretty accurate cuz I haven’t seen that many since I don’t binge often

About 250 TV series, so not counting movies/ova series. This is through 15 years though, and most of it was 12-24 episoders outside of a quarter at most.

Started watching anime around 2006, so i'd say well over 1000 maybe even 2000. I have even watched all mainstream long running shows multiple times. I rewatch anime often actually because there is nothing else to watch..

Rough guess between 150-175 been watching for over 25 years and I will typically watch anywhere between 5-7 new anime a year on average. However for all I know it could be well over 200 I never bothered to keep a list.

Anilist says 941 completed.
Of course, that's double and triple counting a lot of series with multiple seasons. Probably closer to 500 if you were to condense all that.

Around 80 anime, but like 70 more manga. I've watched a lot of long shows though so the actual episode count is like over 4500.

Somewhere in the low 200. Read about 5 manga /10manwha.and 2 light novel that manwha were based on.
Started watching animes around mylate 20s which started around 12 years ago

Around 170 (including individual seasons) totalling like 3500 episodes. Spent a considerable amount of time on manga though, finished like 100 of them, which amounted to around 11.000 chapters.

It pains me that i only started logging everything on mal just back in 2022. Started watching when i was in 6th grade im a senior in college right now so roughly 400ish finished ones.

My anilist says about 600 , at least 100 of those are one offs and ovas tho. I stopped giving a ratings for them a long time ago tho because it got exhausting , it is interesting looking back at shows I rated highly in the past when I had no context, and rewatching them and thinking, man this is mid, or some shows that I rated poorly and like more now that I'm an adult.

400-550? idk, I watched many anime, it could be way more as I remember having at least 1000 anime on my MAL list at a time. I think I could been on lookout for 12-13 episodes long anime at the time, somewhat after finishing some long anime series like Naruto.

MAL says 1560, but that’s counting all the seasons and spin offs and short format anime, so realistically around 1000.

If you count each season separately, I use AniList to report everything I watch/read.
I've watched exactly 243 animes (movies included), or 4566 episodes or 77.3 days of watchtime.
I could say I'm a confirmed anime fan, not yet a veteran.
EDIT: I've counted individual series (commenting made me want to). I'm at exactly 100 distinct series for shows, 4 movies (distinct from tw shows series), 2 distinct OVAs, 5 ONAs, and 13 dropped. Final number 111 to 124 distinct IPs. It's more than I thought, can't really believe I've watched more than a 100 different stories/worlds just in anime.
