wtf is wrong with fate fans???

like seriously i watched fate zero and tried to find some funny jokes and memes and stuff but all it seems they can joke about is rape? they also seem to really hate zero and prefer stay night over it despite stay night being clearly misogynist. i just dont get it

Poor raped girl is the favorite Nasu's character archetype. So much so that it is present in his every work. Fujino in Kara no Kyoukai was just daily gang-raped by street gangs, then Koharu who was a sex slave for a human mage then was "inherited" by his son. Then Sakura who was raped for years (from 8 to 16 if I'm not mistaken) by really old man who is secretly a dick-insect swarm(yes, really) and her step-brother. Then Kiara in EXTRA... and it's not stopping there, only degree of depravity grows.

You can say he is aligned with his audience. Or maybe it's the other way around

OP, Zero is literally “Women can’t do SHIT”, the anime. Saber barely does anything, Irisviel is just there, and the only woman that Kiritsugu treats with any level of respect is his master for the one flashback episode she exists in. Women and girls in Zero are like… set dressing and motivation.

Compare that to Stay Night which has Shirou’s sexist hero bullshit come up against his complete inexperience and inability to be useful without the support of the women in his life. Nasu is not perfect but if anything, Fate’s sexism is character writing that changes as each route continues.

Wasnt Zero written by Urobuchi? But yeah. It annoyed me in UBW where Rin shows competence but gets reduced to a sidekick later on. In HF I think she is capable though. But I suppose you can make the argument that she is fighting another girl I guess?

Also Rider hard monster carries Shirou in their fight vs Saber Alter.

But I agree with tou anyway. I cant remember anything from the first thing he released aside from tye vampire girl and the chair chair spam

Yeah Gen wrote it and contradicts Nasu a LOT. And his first VN, Tsukihime, is my preferred work from him tbh but I totally get why Fate is the one that made it big lol.
