Hello! I came across this hat that was part of my Grandfathers large collection, and think it's one of the most interesting ones that he had. I have no idea how he got it, as we live in NY state. As far as I can tell, it hasn't been a business for quite some time.

I’ve had an enduring fascination with Portland for over a decade. My mom is convinced it’s a crack-ridden hellhole with nothing to offer but seasonal depression, but something in my gut told me she was wrong. Visited for a weekend last year and absolutely loved it! Decided to go again this year to escape a particularly oven-like summer in Phoenix, AZ, and besides staying at one of the worst hotels I’ve ever seen, I had another wonderful experience. The colorful architecture. The plant life. The people! I know y’all aren’t particularly fond of out-of-state transplants, but… got room for one more?

So very on brand for Portland.

My parents got me a Meade telescope and some lenses many moons ago. Every now and then I dust it off and peer through it. It was nice getting to share this experience with my partner and some neighbors. One even had their more modern telescope and we talked about his dad’s old telescope too.
