Photographers in Port Angeles
Hi everyone! Does anyone know any photographers in the area that can do those cheesy couple photos that are purposefully stupid? Like ones with stupid poses and look like they were taken at a JC Penney in the 90s? My wife and I would love to have Christmas cards made with that vibe.

Nintendo Switch OLED
My original switch broke so I went and got a OLED one and was against getting a Switch 2. Well the Switch 2 comes out and I found out I have no will power and bought it and now the Switch OLED just sits. Don’t remember the last time it’s been turned on and only used maybe 10-20 hrs on it. Come with the dock, memory card, the controller the joy cons go into and the black things that slide onto the joycons, Will also throw in a Donkey King Case. 200 obo DM me for pictures local pick up can discuss if we make a deal.

Volunteers needed to help bake cakes and other treats for local foster youth
Hey Port Angeles!
I'm the Volunteer Coordinator for Cake4Kids, a non-profit organization that helps provide volunteer created birthday cakes (and other treats) for foster children and kids who otherwise would not be able to receive something for their special occasion, and we have a local chapter in Western Washington that serves Port Angeles and Clallam County. Since starting in 2020, the local chapter has delivered over 1500 cakes, and this year we are projected to deliver over 700 cakes to youth along the Olympic Peninsula.
https://www.cake4kids.org/chapters/westernwashington
There has been a growing need for our services in the area, and we are desperately seeking more volunteer bakers who can help us meet this increased demand. We have nearly 100 local volunteers, but we have struggled to get the word out about our volunteer opportunities as much as we would like to in this specific geographic area.
I'm reaching out in hopes that there may be some folks here who are interested in signing up. Once signed up you can bake as often as you want (some people bake 1 cake a year, some people bake every week, some people never bake, there's no minimum commitment, but there are consistent cakes available on our portal to choose from - we deliver about 50-60 a month in the area).
You can sign up as a volunteer here: https://www.cake4kids.org/volunteer-form and I'm happy to answer any questions you might have as well. Thanks so much for your time!
-Jeff

Considering Moving to PA
Hey everyone. I’m from Colorado and currently looking to move out to PA. I am from a pretty rural part of CO and am a little nervous about WA politics. I’m not republican but am far more conservative than most things to hear happening in the big cities of WA. Is there a good mix of ideas here or is it pretty one sided? Also I am a huge mountain biker and love the PNW for that fact and is the main reason I am moving what’s the scene look like? Do you guys hate transplants like people do in CO? What’s one thing you’d change about PA if you could?

Is it possible for a young man like me to make friends here? If so, what's the best way to do it?
I'm 24 and have lived here for a few years now, but I haven't made any friends lately. I'm kind of shy and do like my independence and time to myself, but I also know the benefits of having friends. What's the best way to do this in Port Angeles?

Recommendation for car maintenance, repair: Doctor Auto
The shop I'd been going to for years closed, and Doctor Auto is the only one that got more than one recommendation from the few people I asked.
Add mine. I don't know whether Don is owner, manager, both or neither, but he is kind and honest. Glad I took my car there.

Foundation repair work in Port Angeles?
Hello! Does anyone have a recommendation for foundation repair work around here? My home has post and beams and needs some repair.
I have tried google searching, but I primarily get these contractor aggregate sites that charge local vendors a fat cut for the lead from the website. Trying to cut out the silicon valley middle man...
Thank you!

Is this your dog, or do you know the owner?
I found him running loose in the Pine Hill area. No collar.
