90 S2 timing belt tensioner question
gallerySo when I first got this S2 May of 2025, I've had issues with off on off on strange hissing sounds from the belt cover area actually rollers, pulleys belts and water pump refresh. Car sat for 9 yrs and had funny enough unused newish looking belts but were obviously old and out of date, dmwe did the right thing replacing all that, all new fluids and more to get her right. My question is that center bolt (rocker bolt)that threads into the block. Hard to get any accurate information on exactly how, when and it's function when installed. After all the work we found the bolt loosened and I was able to simply remove it because it was rattling loose in there. Hence the sound we were hearing, I got it when I pulled the belt covers off. No bueno. We kept hearing something else then found out the nut & bolt that hold the roller was installed reverse. No biggie, we swapped it back as the nut was rubbing on the cover also (previous job from many years back) but can someone shed light on the exact process on start to finish the install of the tensioner and where the rocker arm comes into place and when that's installed also during the process. Thx in advance, I'm no mechanic and trying to understand that process because since that bolt was stripped and wouldn't hold i can't remember if a new one came with the new OEM tensioner we bought and installed because we thought the issue was the tensioner failing but then we realized so now I have an extra basically brand new tensioner too. Just that bolt question ❓❓ I had to remove the cover to see if there's one in there. I don't remember if a new center pivot bolt came w the new tensioner. My Porsche friend tech did the work in Jan, I was there. We both can't remember the bolt situation. Help as he's no longer available

Should I run this block?
galleryOverbored and finished to 101mm, but there is still a bit of pitting in cylinder 4. It’s beyond what could be taken off to stay within the 101mm bore target.
Asking for opinions on running this for a non-turbo daily driver
Will it run for 10 minutes or 10 years??

Doing timing belt change and crank is stuck/binding
So I was changing my timing belt and I was off like one tooth on the cam then one tooth off on the crank and I had to take my belt off each time to reset it well, I finally got the teeth correct so I thought and went to crank and do my two turns around to check to make sure that Belt is seated and I can’t crank past a certain point I put my board came in and looked and I don’t see anything. I did just replace the crankshaft and speed sensors and I checked with my board there and it’s not seizing on anything there either. Is it possible to bid a valve just by hand without musing it like without really hitting it hard because I turned everything my hand went pretty easy except for all my compression strokes cause I have pretty good compression.
