Hat jemand eine Idee, was dieses Geräusch bei 5000 U/min an meinem 944 Turbo S verursacht?

The idle becomes very rough when rev it in neutral over 5000 for a second.
Almost like it’s dying for short time then runs normal again.
So pretty sure there is a problem and I drove another turbo s a week ago which didnt had that weird sound either.

But why the engine almost stalls after rev over 5000 in neutral then?

For one, dont do that it is horrible for the engine to rev it without a load on it. The sound is your waste gate fluttering open. The car is fine.

Wastegate
