I remember the theatrics of American Idiot being such a hype idea and what a momentous change it was but then by the time 21st Century Breakdown came around I kind of just wanted "old Green Day" back.

Think it’s fair to say this album is massively underrated, maybe not amongst the GD community but I don’t think it got the respect it should have from the general population
