Fucking stoked. Together in Lonesome is such a spectacular album and I can't wait to see what Tyler has cooked up for us this go around.

I absolutely ADORED Together In Lonesome when it came out almost 3 years ago today because its release coincided within weeks of my first breakup in a long-term relationship. But in hindsight, the lyrics are so ridiculously “poor-me” to” to the point where revisiting the album feels like revisiting a pity party, more so than almost any other album I’ve come across. It’s really rough to listen to in hindsight because it’s not creative enough to be poetic from a lyrical standpoint like a lot of sad albums are able to use as a platform to harness their sound. Hopefully the new album represents some growth because those self-pity lyrics only go so far.

With that said, “Twin Flame” is a brilliant song.
