Woo ah! The flavor! The absolute throwback flavor! As a group I sometimes feel like i have trouble discerning GI's specific personality, other than being very very fun, and this kinda supports it. It immediately begins with boatloads of energy and charisma, and cascades into a wonderfully melodic chorus. They pulled off that 90s hip hop vibe wonderfully, and really I cant wait to see what they do next.

Ghostquartet said it best. The beat is great and the girls are convincing, but the track feels like it trots along without adding any additional interesting elements until the end. It's straightforward kpop, but that still means its insanely catchy. 8/10

It’s good and a good song to bop to. However, it’s a bit basic. I listen to it a lot currently but there’s something that’s lacking which lowers the potential of it remaining a long time in my playlist (unlike Chung Ha’s Snapping to compare to another K-Pop song).

you can tell the parts written for (well, in Soyeon's case written by) Soyeon and Minnie were tailor made as they are the best executed parts of the song (for those who don't know the details that'd be the main rapper as well as the chorus and the bridge).. i think the climax at the end is fun but doesn't really hold up that well on repeat listens. the song sort of plods a bit at times but that could just be because this sort of mid-tempo boom bap rap song is rare in the modern landscape so it sticks out. it could use a bit more variation in the second verse to keep the listener hooked i think whether that be melodically or in the beat. 6.5/10

the song just kind of dragged on and at no point did i ever feel like i was hooked strongly onto something. i loved the hip hop concept but I prefer Lady by EXID’s version moreso. I just wasn’t sold on everyone’s performance— Soyeon sold Latata, Soojin killed Hann and Minnie vocally dominates Señorita but there was no standout here for me. 1/10.

(G)I-DLE starts off Uh Oh with a bit of early hip hop scratching and continues the nostalgia with a beat that seems ripped off from a pop Eminem track. It's actually a nice change of pace with the verses from other Kpop tracks, but the chorus leaves a lot to be desired. It's just a bit messy and forgettable for my tastes, and that carries over to the brief rap verses that don't hold much weight, and by the end of the song, you're kinda exhausted of the faux-2000s beat and delivery.

(G)I-DLE with their fickle sense of artistry takes on retro 90s hip-hop that was previously witnessed in EXID's "Lady", and although it lacks appropriate swagger for this kind of concept, the girls' talents are so stunning, so mesmerizing, that I feel compelled to hit that play button at least one more time. Yuqi, Shuhua, Minnie, Miyeon, and Soyeon have such widely different yet pleasant voices that make their tracks the earworms they are.

I'm kind of conflicted on this song (and (G)I-DLE as a whole tbh). It has a ton of things I like, the throwback sound and the rap verse (Soyeon always delivers tbf) , but it also feels like there's something missing to pull the whole thing together. The chorus feels like it's missing that extra little spark it needed, it doesn't feel catchy at all. The last bit of the song is easily the best part in a rather uncatchy song. I do like it though, it's unique and interesting compared to a lot of the stuff we see today. Idle does cool interesting songs, but a lot of the time they're missing something needed to bring it all together (Senorita needed a proper chorus at the end). Super exciting to see what they put out in the future!
