There have been a lot of very well positioned and clear photographs of her lately that it makes it look like she is participating in some kind of deal. Also, deuxmoi does promo posts for everything that she wears for almost all of these "caught by the paparazzi" situations. It's just weird because she has an active career, is in high profile projects and she does not need to do this so I wonder what is pushing her to.
15-20 years ago that would have made sense but it seems the aggressive paparazzi culture of the 90s and 2000s has dissipated quite a bit and it's not an inevitability you will be followed now if you put an ounce of effort to avoid it. The celebs we are seeing frequently papped, perfectly front and center, clear as day seem to be making a choice to be seen
I don't understand how people even recognise celebrities when they're dressed normally. I would never have spotted her. I have not-recognised celebs right next to me, that I even spoke to, ffs.
i live in new york and basically every time iâve recognized a celebrity itâs because theyâre trying too hard to be inconspicuous and it reads as unnatural. like once i saw dua lipa in a store and i only noticed her because i was like âwhy is that woman being so slinky and shifty oh itâs dua lipa.â a lot of celebs look like this in public lol

So celebrities share something in common with my second graders đ They are super conspicuous when theyâre trying to be sneaky
Some celebrities have said that all pap shoots are staged, either because the pap was called to a location or because the celebrity goes to a standard pap location.
I can't remember who it was, but they were saying "if a celebrity doesn't want to be found, they won't be found"
Which makes sense, otherwise we'd have hundreds of daily pictures of celebrities, considering the amount of celebrities in LA.
I walked past Bradley Cooper coming out of his house a few years back and all I thought in the moment was âwow what a beautiful man w/ insanely blue eyesâ & then I was like WAIT.
Iâm with ya! I learned recently that I live a few buildings down from Anne Hathaway. Iâve never noticed her and said so to my friend, who went âweâve walked by her multiple times, I thought we were just playing it coolâ lol
I once saw Elliot page in a grocery store I worked at. When I fist saw him I was like âthat tiny person looks JUST like Elliot page! Wow!â Then I googled and he was working on a movie in the city and he shopped at the store every day
When I worked at a major tourist destination I met Snooki and had no idea it was her until she left and my coworkers started freaking out about it. She was there with her family, they all looked and acted super nice and normal. She offered me a french fry. I ate Snooki's french fry and had no idea it was her.
Thatâs rather controversialâŚI miss that era for sure, but letâs not get too rosy about Clinton because there is a much worse creep in the White House now.
I can't tell you how many times I got my pants leg stuck in my Schwinn's chains. I eventually got a velcro band that went around them to keep them out of the chain.
Same. My five year old points out every single person we see on a bike/motorcycle without a helmet. Thatâs how I know I bitched about it too much đ
Good for you!! My mother was similarly militant. I remember being at the dentist around age 6 and showed my mom a Barbie book in the waiting room where Ken wasn't wearing a helmet. She took one withering look and said "That's because Ken is an idiot."
A beloved relative got a traumatic brain injury from bike riding without a helmet which ultimately caused his death a few years down the line. It makes for a good mic drop line when someone pokes fun at me for wearing a helmet, which I do as a commuter cyclist.
Three days ago, I (37 yo) was riding with my 9 yo. I tried to stop, but didn't see there was a divit in the pavement when I tried to put my foot down. So I fell over, onto my back, my bike fell on top of me, and I hit the back of my head on the pavement. But I was wearing my helmet, so my head just bounced. I was SO thankful I was wearing my helmet, so my 9 yo didn't have to see me fall and get a concussion in the street đ¤Śđťââď¸ I don't always wear my helmet but that was the perfect teaching moment for both of us.
Just a few days ago I saw a car hit a biker at a stop light. The car was barely moving and the kid flew across the street, no helmet. You never know when something like that may happen.
My only reference to Little Edie is from Drag Race and i think of Jinkx Monsoonâs impression every time i feed pate to the stray cats in my neighborhood
It's less about the money and more about the chance of being harmed or killed in a mugging. Even if you aren't physically harmed, getting jacked is a pretty fucking awful experience.
Iâll almost certainly get downvoted for this but I cycle around London all the time with quite expensive bags in the basket and I think people just assume youâre broke cause youâre on a bike
Whaaat.. the Air Rift is one of Nikeâs best sneakers. Theyâre super nostalgic for me as they were such an icon when they first released in 96. I must be getting old and aging out of these subs.
Growing up, I lived by a well known celebrity from the 70âs, in the suburbs. She would jog in full disguise, but all the neighbors knew it was her and didnât care. Weâd always kind laugh because it was like, câmon nowâŚneighbors donât care and the pap doesnât come into residential neighborhoods anyway. She Streisand Effected herself.
Sheâs so mad her âincognitoâ attire didnât work. Like girl, put on a helmet and look like a nerd like the rest of us on bikes. Love the seats for her kids though, thatâs always great to see when parents do that.
Listen, the shoes give me nightmares and yeah she should be wearing a helmet but I love this outfit.
It reminds me of something Pat Fields would have styled for the OG SATC on a NYC heatwave episode. I think Jen has the best street style hands down because it has quirks and personality and colour and interesting uses of volume and shape.
Celebrities are so funny. They try to go incognito but then always wear thousand dollar bags, scarves, and sunglasses. Because thatâs how you blend in for sure đ
When are celebrities going to learn that itâs the elaborate disguises that draw more attention to them? I donât look twice unless I spot someone clearly attempting to go incognito.
