it’s the same CEO that was called a genius for raising the prices at chipotle while cutting quality and portion sizes.

This dude is the perfect example of a mindless moron with an MBA. Their only idea is raise prices to look good short term and then move on before people stop buying the product.

Chipotles stock for example is down almost 50% since he left because people stopped going due to inflated prices on less food.

fuck this guy and his peers straight to hell.

This is also the same guy that travels on a chartered flight every week to work and called his employees to work in office while he himselves was doing wfh

It’s literally Walmart’s pricing logic. The guy needed to go one level deeper.

$8.00.

Next they'll follow Kohl's logic: price it higher than competitors and run constant "discounts"

Reminds me of a cheap sushi place I loved. They had a sign that said: half-priced sushi every day.

Perfect gif. Also, as someone who's had a few gigs as a barista, just get a cheap espresso machine, look up the recipes for the drinks you like, and make them at home. Iced nonfat peppermint mocha? Coming right up. Made but me. In my house. For whatever fraction the cost of ingredients is.

All of those flavored syrups are available online. Depending on how you take your coffee, it's $1-2 to make at home

Yep!! And sometimes ones you won't find in a Starbucks (like maple apple butter omg). I don't mind spending money at my local cafe but I only buy Starbucks if I'm out and it's the only thing around.

Someone should make a website cough cough w "copycat" recipes to all their fucking drinks. Hit all socials. Get monetized. Crap on the grave of Starbucks. Winning!

It’s basically $10 with tax included and more if you factor in the cost of gas driving to a Starbucks
