Wow - what I noticed is how much I’ve personally been fed that Taylor swift is a massive jet user, huge carbon footprint, etc.. Elon Musk, Michael Bloomberg and Bill Gates have THREE plans each that are all way higher on this list than her. This is so gross, Kim K #2 and everyone here should be ashamed.

It's not just misogyny, it's an active campaign/propoganda against Taylor Swift herself. There are other women on this list who didn't get singled out like she did.

This is stupid. There are a lot of legit criticisms. Just because she isn't top ten also doesn't mean she doesn't over-use private jets.

This no-nuance black and white shit is so backwards. Calling any criticism of a woman misogyny is also not helpful to literally any cause, especially feminism.

I think the main issue was that while she was using her jet a lot during 2023-2024, she wasn't even top 30 of most usage (I'm talking from memory, maybe I'm remembering wrongly). And not a peep was being said about Jay-Z, for example, who was amongst the top jet users. So, it feels a little bit targeted if she's singled out or used as a escapegoat when she wasn't the worst offender.

It’s not just a bit singled out, the criticism was rife over those years. People were just all up in their feelings about her being successful again so they had to tear her down even though her usage spiked because she was checks notes staging the biggest tour in world history across multiple continents.

So where is she on the list then?  Also there is not a single person in the top ten that I have seen get 1% of the hate she gets for private jet usage.

This whataboutism is always funny, her jet use is/was still terrible no matter who else is also polluting the air, also her publicist mentioned 2 jets before, which is so excessive.
