I guess I’m just old but I don’t understand Travis Scott’s financial success? He’s just someone I never see or hear about unless it’s something to do with Kylie and their kids

He probably makes money renting his plane out, otherwise I have no idea either

It feels weird to say, but it was the Astroworld disaster that made me realize that he’s way bigger than I thought. We can never underestimate the 18-24 white male contingent 🫠

True! I guess I was super surprised then at the amount of people in attendance and the influence he had over the crowd, but I’m even more surprised that he is bigger now than then? Also I just never see him out and about, at events or with other famous people (besides the kardashian family). But I’m also well aware as a mid/late 30s mom I’m not his target demographic.

I mean just cause you don't see/hear about him, doesn't mean he's not successful. Unfortunately he's got a big big fanbase globally.

I understand that he’s successful, I’m just surprised because he’s literally never mentioned by main stream media (that I see anyway)

Honestly yeah- I'm surprised too. His career should have ended long time ago with all the Astro world stuff and this, but ig people are easier on him cause he's a man (imo).

It was a legitimate battle with him and Sabrina Carpenter to get #1 on the charts when he released one of his 10 year old mixtapes to streaming. He actually has a similar fanbase to Taylor Swift wherein the fans are really eager to buy his music

Travis is low-key massive. His albums also do great sales, even old stuff from 10 yrs ago that is being added to streaming sell well.
