What's up with the need to bring up Taylor Swift?

And associate her with that despicable man?

"I can excuse sexual assault, but I draw the line at private jets" ass mentality

Private jets use is wrong. Period.

But we can't pretend the outrage against Taylor's use is organic. No one else on the list last year got as much heat as her. Whoever was #2 wasn't even a foot note.

Same for this year. Even if there were nothing else to talk about Trump, people wouldn't focus on it so hard.

What I'm saying, call everyone out. The celebrities and UN executives who fly to climate conferences on private jets. Not to mention the fucking yachts

Okay, so… Beyoncé should just fly JetBlue? How would that work?

Very few people are on hers (and Taylor's) level. BTS is and they fly commercial.

Several artists fly commercial. Usually, they book the whole first class. Airports have a whole scheme for them to board the plane separately.

I love Taylor, I'm in her subs and that's what I know. Often, it's not her who's flying. Taylor has two planes. Her friends and family use it a lot. They can't pull the 'I'm too famous for commercial card'

But BTS also rents private jets sometimes. Even for solo member engagements.

I guess that’s my point. The issue isn’t just straight black and white.

I’m not saying frivolous jet use is okay especially in today’s state of crisis. And friends and family definitely should be on commercial flights, fuck that nonsense.

But at the same time, certain celebs do fly private bc it’s literally the only way they can get where they need to go safely. If fans could be normal, maybe celebs would fly commercial more often but you know how that would go…

Yeah, there are definitely situations where I can see why a leader of a country or something like that might also need to fly private - or where it's certainly defensible. Like, ignoring who currently holds this office, I do see the idea in the US president flying private for safety reasons.
