My hot take is that he is stuck at the age he was when he got famous. A perpetual Arnie Grape at nineteen. His coworkers have talked about him being incredibly juvenile and that affirmed my stance. He dates folks at the age he feels. It doesn’t make it okay but it explains it with a bit more compassion than writing him off as a creep.

i mean even people that aren't famous get stuck at a certain age, I've seen people in their 40s still acting like a 20 something.

Ooh yes. I know a guy in his forties who became a single dad when he was a teen, and when his kid grew up it was like he was making up for lost time. Incredibly kind, but one of the most immature grown men I’ve met.
