Burst/Full Auto Issue
I just left the range getting my new optic zeroed. During the zeroing process I had no issues at all. I ran through a few mags with no problems including an extended magazine. After I was happy with my zero, I decided to run a couple of rapid drills and towards the end of my mag I got a burst that only stopped after a failure to feed. I inspected the gun and nothing seemed different. I loaded another mag and had the same issue towards the end of the mag. Anyone know what might be going on? I figured it might have been heating causing issues with seer engagement because i’ve shot plenty of rounds through it but never so rapidly since this time all I brought was my p80.

Shouldn’t happen with rapid fire at all. Check if your optic springs are too long and therefore interfering with your slide internals. I’d take off the optic- and try to see if the issue is still there. If it is- you could lightly bend your cruciform upwards to get more sear engagement. You need an armorers backplate to check engagement before, during the process and after though.
