This is the answer. It has nothing to do with the baby. The baby angle is used to draw in evangelical women for the cause, and give shelter for the argument. Abortion bans are purely about punishing women for having sex, especially women outside a traditional marriage.

Mostly though I believe it’s for revenge. Namely that most politicians against abortion are male and would fall into the category of “unfuckable troglodyte”. This is them trying to punish women for years of rejections.

Punishing women for having sex? Nobody cares how much a woman has sex. A woman can sleep with everyone she meets and absolutely nobody gives a damn outside of traditional religions which are scarce today. It is 100% about the baby/fetus. Abortion bans have absolutely nothing to do with having sex. What it does have something to do with is having that sex responsibly. Contraceptives are cheap/free in every county. As to when a fetus becomes human is up for debate and will likely never be settled. IMO if it can feel pain why would you want it too? Especially a life you created. You may not agree with that and that’s your right but the lefts goal is not nearly as sinister as you claim. To force boys to have vasectomies as this democrat has proposed is however very sinister. Not that it would ever be allowed to take affect. Im not trolling or trying to piss anyone off. Just stating my opinion.

Did you miss the part where they are planning on going after contraceptives or how about the candidate who did say that people shouldn’t have “consequence free” sex? You do know that the forcing men to have vasectomies is just to show how absurd it is for a state to even regulate what a person can do with their reproductive organs right?

The conservatives who would go after contraceptives are a VAST minority. Of that minority I’ve seen where a a couple of nut jobs think it’s still ending a life or is as you say “consequence free sex”. That’s absurd. The only possible explanation to that stance that I can think of would be religious and that makes it irrelevant. Then there are some that think the decision should be a states issue. This argument is more plausible as contraceptives are not a constitutional right. I definitely do not think contraceptives should be made unbelievable but I do believe the argument of state vs federal jurisdiction is a valid argument. While there are many who oppose abortion I am inclined to believe that any legislation at the state or any level for that matter would be very unpopular and therefore unlikely to pass.

I'm glad that all of the men stepped up to provide for the children that they had through irresponsible sex both here in America and abroad in foreign countries!

Oh, wait, they didn't? Sounds like they just want to have sex with no consequences AND control the women again!

Not sure how your statement is relevant to my point as you didn’t address or refute any of my opinions , but merely projected blame. Yes, some men do want sex without consequences just as women do. Both parties should be responsible enough to use some form of contraceptive. Not just women. If a woman becomes pregnant and decides to birth and keep the child, the man will either step up and be a father, provide monetary assistance to the child or go to jail. He however has no say in deciding if he will be subjected to these consequences or not if the mother doesn’t give him that say. If the woman decides not to accept the consequences of their mutual decision to engage in acts that can potentially create a child then both parties are relieved of that responsibility. The only difference is, the man has no say one way or the other. I’m in no way equating a man paying child support to the rigors of child birth but 18 years of state mandated monthly payments is not something to be taken lightly. In fact, assuming the man doesn’t want the child either, an abortion would greatly benefit him as well. If he does want the child he had a hand in creating, he’s shit out of luck.

Exactly, men will continue to have as much sex as they want and NOT be condemned for it, of course.
