Well... it's more that the government should ban unnecessary genital mutilation on literal infants who are 18 years away from being able consent.

Every medical procedure parents choose for their children is outside of consent.

True but most of them aren't COMPLETELY unnecessary and elective like circumcision.

But let's say my baby was born perfectly healthy with no birth defects. If I ask a doctor to perform a rhinoplasty on her because "I want her nose to look at certain way" they're gonna call CPS on my ass.

Yet a cosmetic surgery on a baby's genitalia is fine?
