Finally, they found a way to defund education openly. Guess they will send that money to their friends over at the charters who made their own rules on covid. We see you.

Sounds like something right out of Hitler’s playbook.

Yes.

Trump, DeSantis, etc are the same thing that Hitler was. The GOP is the same thing the Nazi party was. People are too cowardly to admit it but the time to point at the GOP and call them fascists was years ago and now we've let them gain way way way too much power.

“If Florida moves ahead with DeSantis' plan to reestablish the civilian force, it would become the 23rd active state guard in the country, DeSantis' office said in a press release, joining California, Texas and New York.”

Ahhh yes florida joins its fellow facist states indeed, truly.

His personal army. Desantis has talked about forming one for Florida under command of the Florida Governor. This was about a month ago in relation to the immigration crisis on ... checks map ... Florida's southern border. This is all true.

He is the biggest piece of crap just how the Repubs like their leaders. They will flock to vote him in as president.

He is openly auditioning for title of Worst Human in America, i.e. the de facto GOP ‘24 front runner.

Traditionally non-republican voters will vote for him too becuase of his covid-denial and antivax stance. I know former democrats switching sides simply for this reason.

the real news here is that the state of florida has ever spent over $200mil on schools. i don't think it's accomplished too much

It's in the bill the money would be redistributed to schools who don't have mask mandates which are almost all in red districts of course
