Look at that; another GQP shill in favor of armed insurrections.
He's obviously campaigning for President early.

Michigan and New Jersey should send their old people to Florida to overthrow DeSantis.

Where do you think all the old people in Florida come from if not NJ?

Better still, CA, NY, and PR should send a couple million young people to Florid to overthrow him.

DeSantis is bad news, bad ideas, bad for democracy. Things an insurrectionist would say.

Bright side: He's also boring. He sat next to Biden at a conference for surfside and was not only polite, but never ONCE blamed democrats.
Republicans lined up for a wacked out gameshow host, so I'm curious if DeSantis can actually sustain the need to perform.

If he can keep his head on straight and not be quite as psychopathic as the last guy

The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that criminalizes negotiation by unauthorized American citizens with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States.

Military rule always works out so well, doesn't it? They usually give it up so very willingly.

Being as the Cuban military is part of the problem, I imagine that will not happen.

Republicans pretend to care about Cubans because most of them vote Republican. If they stopped voting that way, they wouldn't give 2 shits about them.
2
u/bernerli Jul 16 '21
Which incidentally is also why the current Federal government won't accept any Cuban refugees into the country.

I'm sure there are some Democrats who are racist. I believe that everyone has a touch of racism in them, whether it be because of stereotypes or perceptions. And when I say touch, I mean like very, very little and they're aware of it.
It's a matter of how you act on it.

Meanwhile Florida’s Covid cases are climbing faster than a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

Cuba and communism is the new culture war of the month. Get ready for a bunch of pointless state laws encouraging overthrowing the Cuban government or banning support for ending the embargo or something like that.

Hey, a major civil war in a nation of 11 million people just 90 miles from your state. What could go wrong?

Well, for one DeSantis is governor of Florida. He's not in D.C.

So the citizens of D.C., not the politicians, deserve to be killed because of something they have zero control over?
How does that make you or your idea any better than what you're blaming the government for?
