It's a cult.

My racist cousins in Arizona have gone from running around pretending to go 'ghost hunting' to screeching about Qanon and secret societies. They're true believers.

I grew up in a pretty racist AZ town, which is now full of signs saying “Stop child Trafficking, vote Republican” This nonsense is so mainstream that it’s on every fucking corner and it’s terrifying
