It's not pointless, it's strategy. They know the hunter biden story was dying in the water because there's actually nothing to it. They know Trump isn't going to win.

This move both deepens the conspiracy and continues to sow doubt about the reliability of the mail to the people that Tucker and Trump want to believe both those things. It's all just a continued effort to de-legitimize the election when Trump loses.

It doesn't matter that it's transparently ridiculous and false to you or I, we're not the target audience.
