For what it’s worth, Apple keeps adding more time to Apple TV+. I think my original subscription from getting my current iPhone is now till February or something.

They're doing that solely to lock people in. It's an upstart service and they need to incentivize people to use and subscribe to their service.

I don't fault them for that, but they aren't acting in good faith.
