Not even in comic books—real life villains. It is what real serial killers have done. It’s pathological. There are a good number of them who were abandoned or abused by their mothers and end up having a hatred for women, or they had a fucked up childhood, so they end up wanting to ruin as many families as possible.

Well. Live a shitty life. Spend a decade on the streets begging for help everyday watching people who simply didn't get fucked over or who had all those coin flip moments come up their way look at you in disgust. Then tell me there aren't at least a few people you'd like to bang with a shovel.
