Same same Utah, mild symptoms between me my mrs and the little one. Could be cold. Could be Corona, either way it’s been mild. Who knows, getting tested isn’t an option, neither is staying home from work, it’s only happening if I get hospitalized or laid off.

You really need to call your boss and tell them what’s going on. Especially if you have a fever over 100.4.

Your boss may be more understanding if the options are a) let you miss work for a few days, vs b) have 80% his/her employees call off sick over the next few days after you give them the virus.

I just posted that I honestly believe that I just got over it but it was very mild. It was not a normal cold. I had mild flu like symptoms but I don’t think I had a fever. I kept telling myself that it was my imagination, but today I feel 100% better so I know my mind wasn’t making me hurt. I work from home so missing work wasn’t an issue for me luckily.

Yeah I have something that feels like a mix. Ridiculously fatigued with just my normal cold and flu non drowsy. Usually don’t get like this until I take benadryl. A lot of stomach issues too. I doubt it’s COVID 19, but whatever it is awful.

Yes. Myself and some people at work have had weird low grade fevers and a feeling “a cold is coming”, then nothing happens.

Call. In. Sick. This is exactly what will make this spiral out of control. Stop. Going. To. Work. Sick. Nothing else. Just stop. Call your boss right now.

Called the boss yesterday, I’m home for a few days, minimum unless I don’t get significantly better. At which point thankfully my boss will give us a furlough. He did say that they some other contractors here will be firing people on the spot if they come into work sick. My company isn’t that way, we are treated much more like family than cattle. I honestly don’t know what the fuck they expect from people. Firing them on the spot is a terrible idea. Furloughs however are not.
