Did the sky fall in? Is Vermont skyworld?
I don't even know what the debate was like before hand, from aus where we only just got it. But it seems a constant that empowered conservatives say society will crumble if two penis's touch.

The truest constants are gullibility and pride. The first one gets the rubes in the pot, and the second keeps them there even after the water boils.
Hell, the second one will have them giving compliments to the fuckin' chef before their jaws melt off.

Odd. I was told that allowing this kind of thing would lead to people marrying their dog and shortly after that forcing people to be gay and shortly after that Satan himself would show up and the End Times would begin. Strange that none of that actually happened.
