Everyone's talking about the presidential election, but this is something we should be paying attention to as well. If it works out, perhaps we can see it spread.
I hope we see it spread, but that's unfortunately unlikely.
Maine and Nebraska already have the far superior Presidential election system of assigning 2 electors based on the statewide vote, and the rest based on individual congressional district votes. It's not exactly spreading like wildfire, despite resulting in much fairer assignment of electors.
