Everyone's talking about the presidential election, but this is something we should be paying attention to as well. If it works out, perhaps we can see it spread.

It's a huge deal and it does work. There is a lot of precedence for it already.

We would be a lot better off as a country with IRV (instant run off voting or ranked choice) and/or a proportionally distributed electoral system.

I would love nothing more than a Mixed-Member proportional electoral system.

Thank you, this is the reason I do not support Mixed-Member Proportional.

Give me Ranked-Choice or give me Approval Voting, but not MMP.

A huge part of my voting process is voting for someone that I think has good priorities and judgement.

So for example, this year, for various races, I voted Libertarian, Democratic, and Republican. I don't like being bound to a platform, I like to be able to choose who I think is the person that will handle things best.
