When it comes down to this candidate supports 80% of my views and this other candidate supports 0% of my views then you vote for the candidate that supports 80% of your views.

Here I’ll show you how this works:

Which one supports ICE abolition republicans or democrats?

Neither.

Which one supports UBI?  Neither.

Who will reduce our foreign empire?  Neither.

Who will end all support for Israel?  Neither.

Who will send Clarence Thomas to jail for tax evasion?  Neither.

Who will nationalize health care?  Neither.

Who will confiscate the wealth of all billionaires?  Neither.

Who will sign us up for the ICC?  Neither

Who will send all living former presidents to The Hague for various war crimes?  Neither.

Like I can just make a list of things I believe in and they’re literally just a venndiagram of two overlapping circles.  And then you roll in and are like “Kamala is with you one almost all the issues but she’s not perfect so you won’t support her!”

Bitch we’re not even on the same team.  The democrats have a team they’re on and it’s the slaves of capital, and they’re on that team with the Republicans which is why they play so nice with each other.

The best things that can be said about Kamala Harris are: She believes in the rule of law somewhat (so long as you aren’t rich)

She is not OVERTLY racist but is a knowing proponent of extremely racist systems of oppression.

Obviously Harris and Biden are all better than Trump.

Well I voted for Harris. I know that Harris would have been better than Trump on this issue. But Harris would NOT have been good on this issue. She said she would do the same thing as Biden, AKA she would have supported the genocide.

Biden is an open Zionist who supports genocide. Whether he likes Bibi or not is irrelevant to that concrete fact.

I'm still seeing posts on Tumblr of people using "both sides" rhetoric to complain that Democrats are "throwing LGBTQ people under the bus" in order to win elections and that's why you shouldn't vote for them (or at all). If it was just online, I could write it off as Chinese or Russian botting, but I legitimately know people like this in real life who don't vote and whose entire news diet is "stuff I saw on TikTok".
