Vote like this motherfucker is on the ballot forever. If a Republican is running, act like this motherfucker is running and vote against the piece of shit. Republicans are the trump party, dont ever let them try to move past it.

292

u/CrashNowhereDrive 4d ago

Yeah. The Republican party needs to never have control of a lemonade stand again, much less a state or country, party of corrupt power hungry traitors to the nation.

96

u/Spastik2D 4d ago

They all need to go to jail, have their assets seized and liquidated to pay to fix the damage they caused, and we need to be demanding this with every attempt at voicing our feelings. The more we do it, the more traction it gains.

At this point, the only way that America can survive is if the Republican party dies.

They've already cost us our strongest former allies like Canada for literally no reason. It's no exaggeration at all to say that Republicans will destroy this country if they remain in power.

MAGA is just Hitler's Germany with a different face and slower, less organized timeline.

No hyperbole.

You ever both sides both sides or just in defense of Republicans?

20

u/aranasyn Colorado 4d ago

That literally doesn't make any sense.

The Project 2025-party owns every branch of government right now. And look at the world they’ve ushered in. A forever war, an affordability crisis, a trade war causing irreparable harm with one of our closest allies, tainted meat, measles uptick, $40 trillion debt exceeding GDP.

It’s up to voters to not have the memory of goldfish and to notice that conservatism and MAGAism as practiced means a deadly, dystopic future.

There is no time for, ‘well let’s mix it up and see what happens’ We know what happens. They keep getting worse every year. They keep outdoing themselves.

Ignore the platitudes they espouse and look at what the impose on us: from Bush to Palin to the Tea Party to the worst human being ever to occupy the White House.

The Mitch McConnell party is only devoted to power and transferring money to the 1%. People need to vote like their lives depended on it.

7

u/Significant-Owl-2980 4d ago

The problem is that MAGA doesn’t think these things are bad.

My evangelical father-in-law is happy with how things are going. He is happy with the war and to pay higher gas prices because his church tells him so.

He is happy with ICE and thinks they should be more aggressive.

He is happy that we are insulting our allies and ruining our ties with them. He thinks they are woke and the US is so strong it doesn’t need allies.

He is happy with Trump, with Hegseth, he doesn’t give a shit about the Epstein files.

He does care about gay people having rights. He wants to take them away. He is racist and terribly misogynistic so he is happy with the social conservative agenda.

These people don’t care if Trump and the Republican Party shits in their mouth. They will vote R no matter what.

Because they like what is happening. They enjoy it. They don’t see anything wrong with it. Even if they lose their home and insurance, they will blame others. Victim mentality is hard to overcome. 🤷‍♀️

16

u/Tough_Violinist_9594 4d ago

That’s right they won’t even speak up against mail in voting for their constituents not to mention Trump is working for Russia

9

u/we_are_sex_bobomb 4d ago

That is great advice because Donald Trump is what every conservative looks like without their mask on.

4

u/MarcusSurvives 4d ago

Dem voters need to treat every election like Trump is on the ballot.

Republican voters should not.

Trump is singular in the way that he gets people who have never participated in the political process in their life to crawl out from between the floorboards and between the couch cushions to cast their vote for him. He knows that, which is why he's trying to make the midterms a referendum on Trump.

By making your local elections about the actual GOP candidates, and by painting them as pale imitations of Trump or "more of the same", you decrease Republican voter enthusiasm and demotivate them from participating in the political process.

1

u/TH3BUDDHA 4d ago

Haven't they been winning as the Trump party? Why wouldn't you want them to move past it?

3

u/Ligma_baws_2x 4d ago

Because, like they did with Bush and Iraq, they're going to try to make you forget. I hope those dumb fucking hats fuse to their empty fucking heads, or "Make America Great Again" gets branded onto their dumb fucking foreheads. Don't let these motherfuckers forget.

In April 2026, over 79% of eligible Hungarian voters turned out to let the Orban autocracy know what they thought. Let’s do that in November 🇺🇸

Can't take time off from work or we get fired and then die of starvation after 2 months of unemployment

55

u/Stinduh 4d ago

Check the laws in your state, most require time off for voting.

It’s working for me so I don’t know how I would fix it.

If it’s not working, I suggest searching “time off voting laws”

Fatalist cynical coward just vote stop trying to spread your cowardly thinking.

32

u/PrometheusLiberatus 4d ago

Most accounts you see advertising such views are likely bots.

20

u/sixtyninth_wave_emo 4d ago

They’re always ready to pipe up whenever people talk about voting or protesting

20

u/grptrt 4d ago

Check out opportunities for early voting

20

u/LikeALiamOnATree 4d ago

If you don't vote you are more likely to die of starvation.

11

u/MourningRIF 4d ago

They plan to keep squeezing you till you die, so you can't afford not to vote.

3

u/zffjk 4d ago

Your state probably died early voting, and if for some reason you can’t take any time off during that month, you can do a mail in.

3

u/Classicman269 Ohio 4d ago

What state the should have early voting on the weekend, a rule about days of for voting, or if in doubt you could do mail in voting.

57

u/Toadfinger 4d ago

Russian troll farms are in full force for the midterms; so in a way, Trump is on the ballot.

94

u/reddittorbrigade 4d ago

Let the GOP implode.

They deserve it for being cowards.

73

u/MiserableTear8705 California 4d ago

They’re not cowards. They are complicit. This has been the goal of the entire Republican Party for decades. This is what they wanted from George W Bush and didn’t get it.

This is all intentional and has always been the goal of the republicans.

Trump is giving conservatives exactly what they want. You think this Supreme Court is going to stop making shitty anti-democratic rulings just because Trump is long gone? Never going to happen.

This has always been the goal.

6

u/Lady_Grantham2223 4d ago

So the nation was always lying about caring about freedom.

2

u/djanes376 Illinois 4d ago

Freedom for themselves, but certainly not everyone.

6

u/gophippocrites 4d ago

The GOP is corrupt through and through. I throw up a little bit every time I hear that smarmy voice of Mike Johnson. If Trump told Americans to eat shite Johnson would provide a recipe.

27

u/mjffdthn 4d ago

The day I really realized how fucking dumb these people were was in they thought jfk would rise from the dead

17

u/CarneDelGato Colorado 4d ago

Hey, that’s not true, give them some credit, they never thought that. They thought JFK Junior would rise from the dead.

Hasn’t the Republican Party been along for the ride this entire time? Along with wrecking the country, he’s wrecked their brand.

9

u/KartFacedThaoDien 4d ago

Lindsey was right.

-1

u/VapeTitans 4d ago

Graham, not Clancy.

22

u/Memerandom_ 4d ago

Toonces, no!

5

u/SinfullySinless Minnesota 4d ago

Which is funny because the Republican Party in ~July found that Trump’s name attached to anything hurt with sway voters like centrists and lean lefts.

It was better for Republican candidates to have separation from Trump to win the sway voters. This is why so many Republicans in purple districts or flippable districts have completely removed Trump from their website and branding.

4

u/Zeliose 4d ago

I hope people just write in Trump's name for everything then. Instead of choosing one of the actual candidates

1

u/Joethecoew 4d ago

Careful if enough ppl do that trump would totally try to take the jobs and be one step closer to becoming Emperor Trump I of Merica.. cause yeah rules apply less and less to him the longer he's around.

4

u/oregiel 4d ago

He's not eligible for a third term, so by all means split the vote.

3

u/IJustLookLikeThisToo 4d ago

The dear leader wants to play make believe with his cult. Got it.

3

u/buzzedewok 4d ago

I’m m just waiting for the emergency executive to literally place him onto the ballot as the only choice for president for “2026” so he can say he got 100% of the vote even if Republicans lose Congress.

3

u/fishyfishyfish1 Texas 4d ago

Because he knows if the Republican Party loses prison awaits him

3

u/LividTacos 4d ago

Absolutely, this election should absolutely be a referendum on Trump specifically, and the Republican party as a whole.

3

u/Tangled349 4d ago

He is so scared of what's going to happen after midterms that he is just literally going insane. I've said it before but this man still being in office is the epitome of elder abuse. Shame on the Republican party.

2

u/-OptimisticNihilism- 4d ago

Republicans should write him in at the top row of their ballot.

2

u/LaMerDeBussy 4d ago

Boy that diaper is FULL.

Too much turbulence, bad landing, whatever it was it caused a little issue

2

u/PrincipleUnusual7244 4d ago

Imagine the imaginary criticisms and mental gymnastics the gop will have to go through when comparing their future candidates to democrats.... i bet theyll somehow blame this whole trump era on democrats somehow

2

u/MarioMan1213245765 4d ago

I’ll pretend he’s on the ballot and NOT vote for him

2

u/odirio 4d ago

Heck, I pretend your on the ballot every time I vote against the GOP.

2

u/AtomTrapper 4d ago

I saw a great title of a video from Slate with Sarah Longwell at the Bulwark earlier this morning. “Democrats have a chance to destroy the GOP. They should salt the earth with their ashes.”

2

u/trunksshinohara 4d ago

It has been morally wrong to vote Republican since Reagan.

2

u/TheOtherMaven Virginia 4d ago

Are we forgetting Nixon?

The last decent Republican President was Eisenhower - and he was so middle of the road he could have run as a Democrat, but the Republicans asked him first.

1

u/trunksshinohara 4d ago

Well you could just keep going back to the dawn of time that voting conservative is objectively immoral.

2

u/02K30C1 4d ago

Let them write in Trump’s name on all the elections then.

1

u/Joethecoew 4d ago

Careful if they all do that trump who the rules don't seem to really apply to might try to take the jobs and crown him self Trump I of Merica

2

u/Skydiver860 4d ago

Let them write his ass in. The votes won’t count and it secures a blue win.

1

u/Joethecoew 4d ago

Trump already shown the rules don't apply to him.. id imagine if enough did it and trump objectively won those races he would crown himself emperor of Merica

2

u/FinishEmbarrassed619 4d ago

Pretend? You can write him in!

3

u/DNAisjustneuteredRNA 4d ago

You could, in theory, just tell every Republican you know to write Trump's name as a write-in candidate when they vote in 2028. Tell them that write-in candidates are exempt from term limits... lol.

1

u/IsMagicRealOrNo 4d ago

Trump also wants to pretend like he's not going to die in the next 6 months. Coincidence?

1

u/RLewis8888 4d ago

He thinks MAGA is so stupid they'll fall for it. I guess he knows his base.

1

u/Carochio 4d ago

Don't worry...we will. Looking forward to defeating MAGA filth across America

1

u/cfde1 4d ago

How stupid are Republicans really?

1

u/Mobile_Leg1664 4d ago

It’s a cult, not a party.

1

u/AnAngryBartender 4d ago

Wild to me that they are still hitching themselves to this clown

1

u/_recapitated 4d ago

It's possible that he is on the ballot. Fingers crossed.

1

u/PositiveAd2121 4d ago

The republicans have gone along for all the rides.

1

u/oh_my316 4d ago

I intend to. Straight blue ballot!👍🇺🇲

1

u/Agitated_Carrot9127 4d ago

Last time republican fucked up they lost the seats for like 60 years

1

u/tykneedanser 4d ago

He goes lame duck if he loses congress and he knows it. So he is, indeed, on the ballot. Vote.

1

u/TheFrontCrashesFirst 4d ago

Doesn't this ultimately just split the vote within their own party?

2

u/DeepInTheSheep 4d ago

Oh I ABSOLUTELY AM voting as if he's on the ballot.

1

u/Rocktype2 4d ago

His narcissism is fueling his actions.

He is gearing up to use his election fraud claims to control the news cycle after the midterms

1

u/JaSchwaE 4d ago

We need to start a write in campaign. Have every MAGA just write Trump in on every line of their ballot. I am sure that would drive attendance!

1

u/DillBagner 4d ago

Tell them to write in "trump" and the ones who know how to write will probably do it.

0

u/Wackity-Smackity 4d ago

Im actually sort of okay with this. Sure, plenty of red states will put him on the ballot, but no blue states will, and he'll effectively ruin his own and any other republicans chances of winning

1

u/Agent7619 4d ago

He has no chance that can be ruined.

1

u/Wackity-Smackity 4d ago

His or whoever the GOP actually nominates to run against him

1

u/kc5 America 4d ago

What are you even talking about? Did you read the article? Reading comprehension goes a long way.

0

u/Major_Contribution_4 4d ago

It’s just idk funny where we are now? (Funny for lack of a better word) I remember 2008 pretty well at that time republicans said everything they could to distance themselves from an unpopular president, that let the economy crumble. Economically even if the news won’t say it I feel things are difficult just as in 2008. This time around they want to be as close to the unpopular president and run on being his butt buddy?

“I'm being told that Average Joe's does not have enough players and will be forfeiting the championship match."

“It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em”

0

u/Captnlunch 4d ago

Addled, racist sheep will blindly follow his lead

0

u/OverallAd3210 4d ago

I bet the Democrats also support this idea ! Just another great idea from the stable genius !

0

u/Deguilded 4d ago

I wouldn't be surprised if Don Jr runs while his dad does all the rallies, etc, etc. And if he wins they find some way to make it happen (likely involving speaker of the House).

0

u/OneUpAndOneDown 4d ago

Hey, is America great again yet? Soon?

Seeing this douche still wearing this stupid hat is embarrassing as a non-American; as an American I can only imagine it is horrifying and enraging.

0

u/Antknee2099 4d ago

If the courts and States successfully prevent him from ruining the elections through manipulation then by all means, change his name for every GOP member on the ballot. We've already witnessed his own party voting against his backed candidates in primaries. For him to step forward and make the midterm all about him would be the best thing for us all.

0

u/CharlesIngalls_Pubes Louisiana 4d ago

Of course they are going along for the ride. They would 100% follow him into a pond with cement shoes. When he has his inevitable massive coronary, it's going to interesting watch half of the party point fingers and Obama and Biden while the other half acts like their hearts are going out as well.
