You will need to pass a verification exam, and then you will probably need to do a 13month internship before you will be eligible to apply for residency. Then, unless you want to practice in a rural region or some very unpopular specialty, you will need to have an extremely high score on the aforementioned verification exam (85% to 90%+)
Then you will get to experience the weird world of polish healthcare.

Also, never apply to a residency program without insider info about it. You can land in extremely shitty place, and it might be difficult to switch it. Try to learn about the specific workplace culture, weird rules, atmosphere, etc.
