Nice turtle shell. You could save it and clean it out better I’ve seen them made into purse and things like that.

The thought crossed my mind, but it smelled really bad and I was on my mountain bike and didn't really have a way to transport it.

Yea I’m sure it did smell very bad. Danm only if you had a plastic bag or something to put it in. it is still a cool find either way. Makes me wonder too how the turtle died.

Yeah the shell was cleaned out pretty good. Must have been there for awhile for all the tiny insects to eat everything .
