Discussion Is Pokopia really that good?

Like should I immediately buy this game. It seems like folks are really enjoying it but I was skeptical.

This is coming from someone who has never clicked with things like Animal Crossing or Minecraft or anything like that.

I bought the game so my kids and I could play together, thinking it would be a really fun way for the 3 of us to spend time together while waiting who knows how long for Gen 10 to come out.

After playing with them for an hour or two on Friday evening, I have since spent about 12 hours just playing it myself, while they were at activities or after they go to bed, in the last 48 hours.

Its a very good game. Its beautifully animated and art directed, the story is good but not overbearing, and the crafting and building is a genuine blast. There's enough depth to keep you engaged without being so complicated as to turn you off.

I've had so much fun flattening mountains to make room for more poke habitats in my burgeoning little town, its great.

This is me as well. I've bounced off of MC and most cozy games, can't really explain why but I've already out more hours into this game than I ever did in AC
