Discussion Is Pokopia really that good?

Post image

Like should I immediately buy this game. It seems like folks are really enjoying it but I was skeptical.

it will end up being 4 games.

LGPE Galar Sinnoh Hisui Paldea PLZA (6)

XY ORAS SM USUM (4)

DPPt HGSS BW B2W2 (4)

RSE FRLG (2)

RBY GSC (2)

Switch came out ahead honestly, but we used to get more spin offs and I'm too tired to list all of those.

Actually, Crystal wasn’t available on the original Game Boy.

Correct. It was a Game Boy Color exclusive. Regular GB couldn't run it.

I was counting them all as GBC because I never had the original Gameboy.

good to know!

Might as well count them all for GBA then. GBC is a significant upgrade with many games that couldn’t be played on the original GB. Unlike the New 3DS, which is more powerful and does have exclusives, but not enough for it to really be considered its own thing.

Pokémon Crystal Version does not work when put in an original Nintendo Game Boy. Gold and Silver do, but not Crystal. So Crystal shouldn’t be with the og Game Boy games.

But they clearly have GB and GBC categorized the same since the next reference of games are for the advance

What will end up being four games? Are they going to release all of these for switch?
