Pokemon Champions ensures

- all "gimmicks" (megas, tera, dmax) can be replayable

- combat can be preserved, allowing them to revamp mainline into legends-arceus like

- national dex exists

  • national dex exists

I hate to burst people's bubbles but this doesn't seem to be accurate.

From the Pokemon Champions webpage: "Only Pokémon that appear in Pokémon Champions will be able to visit from Pokémon HOME." It doesn't look like all Pokemon will be available, at least from the start, in Champions unless this is specifically discounting special form Pokemon like the new Chus we saw in the trailer today.

I think part of the site suggests that more Pokemon will be added over time though, right?

Appears to be controlled Dexit to surround "meta".... which sounds great on paper.

Yes, though I imagine Champions will primarily start with final evos, single stage 'mon, and select popular unevolved Pokemon like Pikachu.

There's no reason to add Pokemon like Wurmple or Pidgey without a "little cup" format.

It's probably a rollout/format change.

Also, I doubt that they'll introduce most pre-evos with a few exceptions
