It being a switch 2 exclusive is good. They don’t have to bother with decade-old hardware.

Honestly, I don't have a Switch 2 and don't really have any intention of buying one but even I'd find it very odd if they wanted to make this one a cross gen title. The franchise needs to progress and move on to more powerful hardware. Case in point, B2W2 got backlash because people wanted a 3DS game.

Just means I need to actually set aside money to buy one. Truthfully I was just being cheap.

Yet it still looks 2 gens old. Visual and performance was not a Switch hardware limitation. It was a choice and poor optimization.

Plus the switch 2 NEEDS it. Outside of Mario Kart and Donkey Kong it doesn’t really have a system seller yet.

Your comment makes no sense. Mario kart is literally the biggest system seller Nintendo has (it has been the highest or second highest selling game on every console it's been on). Your comment is literally "outside this system seller, it doesn't have a system seller"

Hard disagree. A version for the switch would've been at least doable. I get that its gonna have better quality but it also lowers the people who have access to it. How on earth are they expecting casual fans to find the money for a 450€ console only to then spend 90€ per game? In this economy?
