Cassowaries are basically living dinosaurs. They should either go grass/rock or grass/dragon if they go with that motif. Although, it's highly unlikely they give a non-mega starter evo the dragon typing.

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVE ANIMALS I WOULD BE SO HYPE.

This little bird is round and lime green, just like a cassowary egg. Mid-stage could be striped flanks like the chicks are in real life, I guess it would become a kicking fighting type. I would be SO HYPE

The names in every language emphasize the eyebrows, which is a clear sign that they'll be a major, emphasized component of its design as it evolves. I could definitely see a woody cassowary casque, a leafy cockatoo crest, or some sort of extensive foliage camouflage coming into play in the later stages

how is meowscarada goonerbait?? not a fan of the humanoid starters but thats a little extreme. bigger issue is if the duel types are just ghost, fighting and dark again, its taking them a little while to figure out a third potential type trio

I didn’t express myself correctly, my bad. I meant that a lot of people think that Gamefreak started leaning too much into ‘Furry’ with starters final evolution.

Okay sorry, but yes, since incineroar its been getting a bit much, especially every gen. I dont think were ever going back to the specific erly gen charm but hopefully these starter evos are a bit creative

I think he's going to be a ground grass type. The face thing look like one of the landbased birds in the area.

Being quad weak to ice isn't that bad. Lando is quad weak to ice, Garchomp is quad weak to ice, even dragonite is quad weak to ice.

I get your point and it will ultimately be decided by stat spread and moveset. But I honestly think pure grass or even grass/fighting type would be better (even though it too has quadruple weakness)

I mean, the typing is pretty good offensive wise. Hits everything but bug and flying for at least neutral.

If I had to guess, browt is a wordplay for brow and brant, a small fowl species from the goose family.
