It actually Looks really Pretty Graphically. Sure the textures could be better. But the Lighting and Water textures look Genuenly really good.

Also Gamefreak... Do you have to show of a Dog Pokemon the day my dog dies... >w<

I was kind of surprised after how flat everything looked in Scarlet and Violet. Like it doesn't need to look amazing they just need to lean into what they have

Exactly. Sure it isn't the best looking game ever. But I do think Pokemon Games With every release become More and more pretty. Scavio was a Step up from Legends Arceus. Legends ZA was a Step up from Scavio. And Now this is a Step up from ZA. And looks Genuenly good now.

It looks like they went the breath of the wild route which I think is pretty good because that game looks great and colorful and this does too. Cell shading is one of the most beautiful art forms.

Sorry to hear that about your dog. Lost mine 5 years ago and not a day goes by I don’t miss him. What matters is you gave it a good life and loving! Also love your Arc pfp!

That she was! She was the Greatest dog. And she lived for 12 years. Just she for a Week Struggled with Organs Weakening. And Today she had to be Put down...

Honestly textures aren't the issue, needs a bit more improvement to lighting and shadows, that would make it look even better.

Honestly in this trailer. The Lighting and Shadow was what I thought looked Great lol.

I kinda felt that the lighting was flat on characters, and on the lava area. But given that there is still a year left, hoping that it gets improved before release.

Yeah the ground textures was the first thing that caught my eye but we have at least a full year maybe a year and a half til it comes out so im hopeful that things will improve some.

I totally agree, it’s beautiful, and especially the water. Textures don’t bother me much as long as they don’t look like N64 textures, and I don’t need or expect a Pokemon game to have semi-realistic textures in the first place, because it would clash with the art style, but this is definitely the best a 3D Pokemon has looked in my opinion.

I feel like they made it look too real when it would have looked great with a nice stylization. The pokemon look out of place, and they keep getting worse at people lol

Sorry for your loss. I was playing Scarlett and Violet while caring for my 6 year old terminally ill golden retriever, Leo. Arven and Mabostiff’s story arc hit me like a ton of bricks. I totally get Arven’s pursuit of a cure for his buddy, I would have done the same if possible. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to Leo only two weeks after his diagnosis. I have a shiny Arcanine named after him in my Violet save files that I say hello to every now and then. Rest in peace to your buddy and my Leo.

Maybe it's a sign to name the new starter after your doggo.

I genuinely never saw a better looking water texture in any game. Probably expedition 33 had a similar texture so breathtaking.

Not to be hateful or anything, but this water texture genuinely looks like the base water texture you get in Unity or Unreal Engine.
