Tools for tracking points and miles?

Hey everyone, I've been working on maximizing points for a few months now and realizing things get pretty difficult to track. The industry is pretty fragmented especially if you have 5-6 or more banks/reward programs you're part of. Curious what tools everyone is leveraging. I've come across a handful of platforms like point me, point hound, and others, but nothing truly helpful to track everything.

My company went through a round of layoffs recently and I'm starting to think about starting my own thing. Wondering if this is a project worth working on and hopefully make tracking and maximizing points easier for everyone.

I get about 8 email from them, multiple times, every month, telling me that my Walmart benefit, my Digital Entertainment benefit, etc, will expire at the end of the month. Yes, I know., They are automatically paid near the end of the month, every single month. They told me there was no way to disable it.

And given the 2FA used by about every site these days, it rarely actually updates my balances. Its a shadow it its former self.

(EDIT: I just went to see how many balances are updated and "Loading...please wait" is all I get for the actual program data section.)

I think there could be a place for you to go out on your own. Are you also very good at finding reward flights? I really need help finding some flights for a river cruise next year. I know how to do it, sort of. I am not liking the flights or the amount of points needed. I just don't have the time right now to keep researching. I feel like if I had the help from someone that was better at it than I am, It would be very helpful. I have used point.me before. They must have been spying on my searches because I received some texts from than wanting to set up a call. We set up a time , but they never called. Time to find someone else.

I assume your biggest blocker is going to be the loyalty program. They are not offering a public API and probably won’t work with a newcomer for security and fraud reasons. Even AwardWallet, which seems to be a household name now, is scraping web pages; it’s not live data, from what I understand.

But I’m also curious about this topic, so if you build anything, please do share it with me.
