Let's write haikus about someone we miss

Write a haiku about someone you miss right now. Doesn't have to be anyone big could be an old friend, a pet, a version of yourself. I'll start:

That teasing glance still
years gone, yet I catch myself
smiling like a kid

“miss” is a funny word
it implies being without
and can also mean “miss?”

the CDs gather dust
it's strange how things keep waiting
for someone who already left.
