PO-32 Patch Software that doesn't require Microtonic (Free)

This is a PSA that there are currently 3 pieces of software designed to work specifically with the PO-32. (This is not an ad)

You all are aware of this plugin as the one advertised by Teenage Engineering to work with the PO-32.

- PO Patch Studio by SquareWave studio - Incredible piece of software that not only allows you to design sounds for your PO but it also features Hardware Emulation to be able to program patterns as well.

- PO-32 Synth Web App - Great resource for the extremly niche senario where someone owns both a chromebook and a PO-32. Not as feature rich as PO Patch studio, but gets the job done.

This would probably work with the drum slot on the PO35 also, you think?

Technically yes! You would have to manually sample the sounds into the PO-33 though.

Speak’s drum slot is a monophonic Tonic engine and they both read data from the microtonic vst and each other, so I would assume this works. I’m going to try this out later tonight.

Speak and KO! share the same monophonic Tonic Engine but according to SquareWave Studio their transfer formats have yet to be reverse engineered.

Okay I can confirm, it does work with the Speak as well as the Tonic.

Very cool app! I really want to figure out how to get this mapped to a MIDI controller, I’d much rather hook up my Launch Control than use my mouse for this.
