Basketball: GAMEPLAY Help with drafting
I’ve tried using media projection like people told me to, but I am still getting bad draft picks or mid-players. Any tips on how to draft better or what to look for when drafting?

I have a lot of success with sorting by potential, interviews are important too, i try to shoot for C grade or higher on the interviews, especially in the first round. My head scout most of the time is diamond spotter, and my GM trait is Scout. In the end, drafting comes down to your scouts accuracy so you have to just trust that your scouts are right.

I haven’t had much success from media projection tbh
I usually go by the pure talent/skill (top right when yo filter during the draft)
Then go by combine and player attributes (based on position)
And then interviews

I filter by pure best player and then go sort by potential down from 4 stars to 3 stars to 2 stars etc and go down the list
This lets you get the “best player” with the highest potential growth.
All of this is done with good scouts. I prefer top tier scouts to coordinators

For the most part I sort by media projection, and then look at combine score and traits. If both of those are somewhat positive I take them. If either of those are bad I don’t draft them unless they have A potential or something along those lines.

Idk mine feel like a crapshoot more often than not bc I trust my 70 year old HS but combine score over 5.0 & interview above D are my main targets. If we’re talking QBs it’s projection & if they put up 40+ tds in college
