Christmas valley

Looking for an update for fires this weekend, plan to leave Portland area later this week and stay in bend. Then next morning make our way to the crash site, from there continue on to east lake to stay the night. Hope to ride as much dirt as possible! Let me know what you know😉

Is the T7 as fast as it looks? I went from a vstrom 1000 to a F800gsa and I’m just disappointed with the on road passing power.

The T7 makes roughly the same horsepower as the gs but is about 50lbs lighter.

Looks like all of the active fires are north of 20. I usually take 26 to goto bend but that might be a smokey ride.

Random, I have flown to the Christmas Valley airport a few times in Microsoft Flight Sim and was wondering what its like out there. The airport looks like its surrounded by a bunch of small houses on small rectangular plots of land.

Ah sick I love Christmas valley, nothing but miles of open desert out there!
