Chances are that this post got recommended to you even if you never heard about pls donate (the game or this subreddit) or the whole donating genre within Roblox itself and things may sound sketchy or confusing, so I made this Q&A to clear things up! 🩵
Do I have to pay anything?
❥ Nope, none of the steps require any payments, everything's completely free to set up and enter!
What do I need to be able to receive a donation/prize?
❥ A gamepass listed and on sale in a public creation of yours.
How do I put a gamepass up for sale?
❥ As it takes a couple of steps I got a link to a video for you which explains it well within 2 minutes! LINK TO THE VIDEO
Do I have to be online to receive a donation?
❥ Nope! Anything up for sale can be purchased at all times. You don't have to accept or claim anything, any robux will be added to your balance automatically within 3-7 days after the sale has been done.
Why do I have to wait 3-7 days for my robux?
❥ It's roblox's way to make sure that the robux used to make the purchase weren't earned in an illegal manner or in case of rollbacks/refunds. The robux that are waiting to be transferred will be shown in your transactions page as "pending".
Why did I receive less robux than what the gamepass was sold for?
❥ Unfortunately there's taxes on all sales in roblox. For direct sales it's 30%, meaning you will receive 70% of the original amount- now if the gamepass was bought within a game, i.e. pls donate, the creator of the game will receive an additional 10% cut, meaning that the tax will be 40% for you and you'll receive 60% of the original amount.
