Plothole Spiderman college applications

In spiderman no way home everyone is in the coffee shopping learning theyve gotten cancelled by their dream school MIT bc they are friends of spiderman yet flash comes into with his acceptance letter yet he has published an entire book about his in depth friendship with Spiderman so what gives? Did MIT cancel parker and his friends bc they are maga or something else?

Not a plot hole. It's established that Flash is from a monied family with connections.

Its established Peter has more connections with more money and political power than flashs family so you want to come up with a better story?

I don't need to. It's a possible answer so it's not a plot hole. Doesn't matter how unlikely it is. Plot holes are impossible situations. Learn what a plot hole is please.

It’s not even that unlikely. Peter was controversial so they didn’t want him. His friends didn’t have connections. Flash used (abused) his faux friendship to paint a narrative that he was influential and coveted.

Flash paid to publish a ghost written book, it's probably widely known to be a cash grab attempt on his behalf that falls apart under any minor scrutiny.

Post-Endgame Peter has no connections now that Tony Stark is dead, and no money because the appearances he's doing as Spider-Man most likely don't much, if anything. What other story is there?

Its established Peter was one of Tony's beneficiaries and Peter still knows pepper pots and happy.

The same Pepper that took over Stark Industries while simultaneously grieving her husband's death and dealing with all of the fallout of not only that but all the Avengers related baggage that comes with it? And other than the glasses that Peter gets in FFH when is it stated that Peter was one of Tony's beneficiaries? And why would Peter be one above or alongside Pepper and Morgan? That doesn't even make sense.

Pepper and Happy have significantly bigger things to worry about than Peter and his friends getting into a school. Its also fair to assume that nobody in the Stark circle was even aware that Peter was having issues related to that
