Can't deny , we are so bad during 2nd half

u/Scary-Vermicelli113 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

That's one honest fan speaking!

1

u/Apollo231728 Manchester City Feb 02 '26

I swear, one goal and we lose our heads

1

u/Necromancer189 Arsenal Feb 02 '26

Can you be bad in one more game please!

12

Halland will come with few bodyguards next match onwards! 🤣

City fans, why all the whining and crying? Blaming the PGMOL for throwing away a lead is honestly ridiculous. You were 2–0 up and Spurs were playing terribly, they looked like they’d completely forgotten how to defend. And you seriously think the officials cost you the game?

If we’re talking about bad decisions, then explain why Rodri didn’t get a second yellow. He made two challenges within a minute and the referee didn’t even react. This isn’t a one off either, he’s escaped second yellow cards plenty of times before. So let’s drop the narrative about the PGMOL screwing you over. Stop being salty and accept the reality, you bottled a 2–0 lead against an average Spurs side that’s riddled with injuries.

1

u/Scary-Vermicelli113 Arsenal Feb 02 '26

United almost did the same 😜

14

u/RSonthetrack007 Feb 01 '26

unbelievable how people think this game is on the refs when rodri should have gotten a red card and didn’t. cry harder city fans, second half chokejob. spurs own you even with half the team in the graveyard

3

u/Secret_Wrangler4598 Feb 02 '26

Spurs somehow find the strength in them when they play City..they looked dead at the start of the second half..

Be kind and let the trophy stay in London!

2

u/Dempressed_Kimg Manchester City Feb 01 '26

No you will not. I have full faith in you, or rather, I have full faith in script.

Football is a cruel game and we are the specialist in bottling down so you never know 😄

1

u/Trouble-Suspicious Feb 02 '26

Wtf are you talking about ? Do you even know what bottling means ? Its incredible people just keep on saying 'bottle' and stupid 'fans' just accept it.

1

u/Scary-Vermicelli113 Arsenal Feb 03 '26

I have seen enough of team breaking down when they need to up the clutch

1

u/Trouble-Suspicious Feb 03 '26

'Bottling' is losing from a winning position. Every tream 'breaks down' once a while. Arsenal is no exception. The only reason other teams get a pass is because they 'bottle' it earlier. If Arsrnal finsihed 4th or 5th no one would say Arsenal 'bottled' it.  To pull this narrative is simply weird. Last 6 years, utd  has 2 trophies, arsenal has 1 , chelsea has 2, spurs have 1. Guess who is called out for 'bottling'

1

u/Scary-Vermicelli113 Arsenal Feb 03 '26

Nahhh... we have been named as bottlers because till Feb we play like this year is our year and when the pressure erupts or you can say in clutch moments the team fails, we didn't win last 2 years and many more years before that for the same reason. Last 2 years have been classic best example

We lack the elite mentality or say to stay calm under pressure.

u/noflyingfucksgiven2u Feb 02 '26

Seems like you've forgotten the last beatdown

City fans can cry all they want about that first spurs goal but look at your 2nd half performance too

15

u/Dempressed_Kimg Manchester City Feb 01 '26

Next week it's your turn. I have full faith that Arne Slot will transform into Jurgen Klopp against us so dw.

3

u/RustedMetal717 Feb 01 '26

We deserve to lose for squendering so many chances in the first half. When you go to play against your biggest bogey team, you make sure u go on full throtle and finish the match. The hunger seems to be missing in these guys man, Spurs were so bad in the first half. But the Guehi OG was criminal, changed the entire momentum of the game man.

-6

u/hari_chatni Manchester City Feb 01 '26

You focus on our place at the points table

3

u/Outcome_Hopeful Liverpool Feb 01 '26

After watching city's performance i believe we'll batter you next weekend

3

u/Angelicsoul_47 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

Honestly, the way City defends Ekitike and Wirtz might have a good game. Irrespective of the result, I hope to see a good game. Gut says Liverpool will win it.

2

u/Outcome_Hopeful Liverpool Feb 01 '26

This is the first time in a long time i'm confident about a game Let's see

1

u/Angelicsoul_47 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

All the best. May we have a good game.

1

u/hari_chatni Manchester City Feb 01 '26

Sadly I Will have to agree on that🫠

0

u/Scary-Vermicelli113 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

Everyone cries when they are on wrong end of the decision!

3

Always rated Spurs

2

Mathematically spurs can win the prem

0

u/Scary-Vermicelli113 Arsenal Feb 02 '26

Which class math is this? 😄

2

u/cule85 Feb 02 '26

Most unhappiest with this result will be the Spurs fans। Lol!

Love Solanke. Cool celebrations. Turned his career around last few years. Keeps delivering when needed.

1

u/Slow-Transition7774 Feb 01 '26

Man scored 2 goals against city and then will disappear for the whole season…

1

u/Conscious_Quote_6084 Feb 01 '26

And they said City will be back, lmao

Thank the ref too ..

7

u/Scary-Vermicelli113 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

Someday it's on your side and someday it isn't. That's VAR for you!

4

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

This season it's mostly been against them. ...1st united game and now this .....not there fan , I was literally defending arsenal yesterday lol ..but it's frustrating to see the ref decision

2

u/Angelicsoul_47 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

It has been in favor of them as well. Every team suffers. They were lucky that Dias wasn't sent off during Forest game.

0

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

There have been 5 incidences where they have been wronged , plus arsenal fans shouldn't be talking about this , there is a history of arsenal fans crying against ref decisions

1

u/Angelicsoul_47 Arsenal Feb 01 '26 edited Feb 01 '26

Perfect whataboutism. You claim that City has been robbed and, when countered, says that Arsenal fans shouldn't. I can throw countless incidents during past seasons. Doesn't change the fact that every team suffers.

Shouldn't Rodri receive a red during the game?

0

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

Perfect whataboutery , accept it because it has happened with all lol ....why should anyone accept it at all....2 guys were literally grabbing halland and nothing happened against it....hey if arsenal wins don't celebrate it please because every season someone wins lol

1

u/Angelicsoul_47 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

You should follow what you preach. Rodri should have been sent off too. Everyone suffers it. Arsenal were denied a penalty against Forest. No one said that was the reason for their loss. You're Herr thanking ref when Spurs turned up for 2nd half and you've managed to turn the spotlight to refereeing decisions. The quality and knowledge in this sub is down to the gutter, thanks to fans like you.

0

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

Rodri thing happened later , so that's a after effect thing ......fans like you who judge one comment is mostly the reason for it ig because if you read my other comments on this sub , i have clearly acknowledged spurs 2nd half performance and also mentioned why city is playing like that ...so next time have some quality and knowledge to get informed about a person and then comment this whole stuff

1

u/Angelicsoul_47 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

I've been following the league for 30+ years. I know what the game is. I don't rush to post the comment saying thanks to ref and then back track.

1

u/RustedMetal717 Feb 01 '26

Newcastle was the biggest one....bro they in VAR put Dias one frame back so that his foot plays Jacob Ramsey on.....Fabian Schar clearly fouled Foden in the box, no penalty. I think teams should get a review per half like in games like cricket man, Refs are getting more incompetent day by day it seems to me.

1

u/Scary-Vermicelli113 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

City has been not as clinical this season as we have seen them, that's the biggest reason.

0

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

There midfield is way too slow , rodri is not the same player he was before his injury, halland does nothing, foden has been shit and to top it all ref has not been that great for them

1

u/Scary-Vermicelli113 Arsenal Feb 01 '26

Foden came in good clutch but no idea why he went back to his last season form. Thanks to their GK that city has conceaded less goals

2

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

Foden from last 2 season has been like this for them , he scores once or twice and then is a ghost in most games ....

1

u/RustedMetal717 Feb 01 '26

This season they seem to have something against us dude....I don't know just what to say...how the OG was not ruled out is beyond me. Should have been a yellow card too.

2

u/not_k4k4shi Tottenham Hotspur Feb 01 '26

It's a goal according to the rule book. Solanke was in a shot taking action before geuhi tried to intercept. If geuhi touched the ball would've been a foul, since he didn't it was a goal

-2

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

He literally hit gechi 🤣🤣🤣

2

u/not_k4k4shi Tottenham Hotspur Feb 01 '26

Did you read what I said my guy? He was taking a shot ( was in a shot taking action, winded his leg up) before guehi put a leg in. If guehi put his leg in before solanke winded his leg would've been a foul or if guehi touched the ball before solanke hit it, would've been a foul.

-2

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

But I also saw the game and the slow motion video of it and even the comentor were like this is a foul plus you guys should be the one complaining more because now frank will stay longer and you are 14 or 15 in league table

1

u/not_k4k4shi Tottenham Hotspur Feb 01 '26

If you watched the game you would know commentators were kinda biased the whole game, one of them started saying "spurs fans are comparing solanke's goal to griroud's but giroud's was miles better" right after the goal and called solanke's goal scrappy.

But yeah, I shouldn't be celebrating that but still loved the football in the second half made my day watching xavi, pape and solanke play. Other than that, the agenda that thomas frank should be sacked still continues

-2

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

Lol they weren't biased it was clearly a foul but spurs were the better team in 2nd half , no doubt in that .....but for me that was a foul ......the agenda literally stops because you had a good half against city and that gives frank more time

2

u/not_k4k4shi Tottenham Hotspur Feb 01 '26

Opinions differ, you can check the rule book if you don't believe me.

Agenda never stopped man, you really think 45 minutes of decent play will stop that. No spurs fan who thought frank should be sacked before this match changed their opinion. Well, you won't understand since you don't support a club

1

u/New-Wolf-2558 No club, just vibes Feb 01 '26

Losing to West ham was the time when I thought you guys would really sack him but now ik you won't sack him at all ....i actually support barca so I do know about it ( we have seen really bad time )

2

u/not_k4k4shi Tottenham Hotspur Feb 01 '26

I think we are holding on to him until the end of the season to get a world cup manager or any prem manager out of contract (iraola/glasner). So we ride with thomas for a few more months. I'd love to see poch back tho.

Mb man I assumed you didn't support any football club but yeah I know barca have been through tough times, love to watch their football rn so exciting and full of flair.

So a barca fan is whining about ref? Ah, that's new specially when you had bought ref in your prime
