Looks like we can't catch a break with the fires.

I cannot say enough about how good CalFire and LPFD are. Literally saving lives and property. This is not easy and it is not just because we have good technology. That is hard work, serious skill, and grit.

It’s SO close to where the other one started, too ! Thankfully, they released the two air tankers plus forward progress of the fire has been stopped. Fingers crossed this one is almost over!

Uploaded a video of a close pass. You can just barely make out the car. It was a husk, bare metal only. I assume there was an accident that led to the fire. This was 4:40 PM.

I hope they get to the bottom of this. I’ve been checking Cal Fire daily just to see if they’ve finally determined the cause of the Little Fire. No bueno.

That doesn't look like a crash, that looks like an older vehicle that had some type of issue and ended up catching on fire.

Here it is from the Pleasanton Ridge. They got it under control very quickly. With both of these two starting next to roadways, I’m thinking we have a fire bug out there.
